Guidelines

A weblog or blog is a modern form of communication - designed for keeping up-to-date with change and to help facilitate change for the better.  Blogging fits somewhere between a conventional website and email – it allows two-way communication in a public forum.  Some of the things that a blog lets you do:
  • Access the collective experience of a global network of people with similar interests.
  • Automatic notification of updates.
  • Contribute by adding your own comments and reading comments made by others.
  • Become a contributor and create your own posts.
To save you time and to help you stay up-to-date with the latest additions you can make use of the Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feature. Just click the Subscribe icon on the top right of the home screen and click the “Subscribe to this feed” option. This will instruct your computer to periodically check online for updates – it is a free service.

This is a public weblog; everyone is welcome and anyone can submit comments.

To keep the site clean all comments are moderated before being approved and any comments that appear to be “spam” will not be approved so please refer to specific points in the posts to ensure we can avoid erroneously trash canning your comments!

A blog is a forum for sharing experience and ideas and that can sometimes highlight differences of opinion and occasionally passions can run high. We ask that comments are focussed on the topics being debated and are not directed at individuals.  Disagreement is usually “heated agreement” and a difference of opinion is a learning opportunity for both parties.

If visitors feel that any content or behaviour is inappropriate or disrespectful then please say so.  Any content that is offensive will not be posted and any material that generates complaints may be edited or removed.
